Our Event

BAIKUNTHAPUR SRI AUROBINDO ASHRAMA

Independence Day

Every year, on the 15th of August, we celebrate Independence Day, honoring the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to restore the freedom of our nation. On this special day, we the volunteers, and members come together at our organization premises, and our president hoists the national flag. We organize cultural programs in which children and our students enthusiastically participate in singing, dancing, recitation, and debates. It is a joyous occasion filled with excitement and a deep sense of patriotism.

Republic Day

On every 26th of January, we joyfully celebrate Republic Day, commemorating the day when our constitution came into effect, symbolizing India’s full independence. This occasion is a time to promote unity and harmony, emphasizing the importance of our nation’s constitution. With immense enthusiasm, we proudly raise flags on our trust premises, bringing people together for a meaningful program. Republic Day serves as a powerful reminder of our shared values and the enduring strength of our nation.

Chaitra Sankranti

We at Baikunthapur Sri Aurobindo Ashrama also observe Chaitra Sankranti, the last day of the Bengali month Chaitra, with enthusiasm. We organize drawing competitions, quiz contests, and sports events, encouraging local children and youth to participate. These activities serve as a platform for them to showcase their talents, fostering their skills and creativity while fostering a sense of community and celebration during this auspicious occasion.

Lord Shiva (Neel) Puja

During Neel Puja, we worship Lord Shiva and extend our efforts to the underprivileged rural population by organizing a clothing distribution program. We provide new clothes to those in need and invite respected members of the local administration to participate in this event, fostering a sense of community and devotion while promoting social welfare.
